A beautiful route stretches along the foot of the imposing Kanisfluh and leads through the picturesque Engevorsäß to Schnepfau. This route not only offers breathtaking views of the majestic Kanisfluh, but also provides a unique insight into the charming landscape of the Engevorsäß.

The route alternates between gentle passages and more demanding sections. The ideal starting point is at the municipal office in Au. The skating trail runs partly parallel to the cross-country trail and forms a loop in Wieden. After crossing a road, the route descends slightly back to the starting point. From there you continue your route until you reach the cycle bridge on the Argenbach. The route then runs in a wide loop through the Reute cattle pasture before returning to the starting point. This diverse route offers both beginners and experienced cross-country skiers an exciting and varied experience.
