Nature lovers and outdoor freaks

Vorarlberg also offers countless opportunities for nature lovers and outdoor freaks:

For example, you can go hunting with a professional or help out with your children on a farm for a few hours or even a few days. Or how about one Fishing course or fly fishing course in the Flyfishing company, an archery course, canyoning in the torrent, conquering the Zimba (also called the Vorarlberger Matterhorn) and much more. We don’t want to describe all the possibilities here, because there are only very narrow limits to your imagination. So here are just a few highlights and maybe some inspiration.

Our small farm for nature lovers and outdoor freaks

Children love animals – so do we. So what could be nicer than helping out on the farm, where many different animals live and the children are happy to allow them to help out? The educational value is also given when children learn through play that animals need a lot of attention and care and attention and that the attention given is almost always returned.

We make all this possible for you:

Nature tours in all variations

For example herb hikes: Eva Wachter offers herb hikes for the whole family in Brandnertal. The qualified expert is happy to share her knowledge with guests. After the easy tour, Eva helps to produce her own teas and/or ointments from the material she has collected. “On the high plateau of Tschengla there are a particularly large number of different valuable herbs,” says Eva Wachter, who knows more than 500 medicinal plants by name. Eva not only knows the medicinal plants, but also knows why and especially against what each one is grown. Every hike is different and you always discover new plants.

Are you on vacation in one of our apartments in the Bregenzerwald? Here, too, there is a beautiful herbal hike that you can do – namely through the Nature reserve “Fohramoos”.

Hunting

For more than a century, hunters in Vorarlberg have played an important role in protecting and preserving native wild animals and their habitats. Whether stalking, sitting game or feeding – we cordially invite you to accompany us on these activities in the hunting grounds. An experienced hunter will be happy to guide you through this experience.
