Fancy a toboggan ride? Here in the Brandnertal you have plenty of opportunities to do so. Experience magnificent descents, whether leisurely or fast, a toboggan ride is always a fun change with us. Whether during the day, when the sun glitters in the snow, or at night, when the evening lights of the snow-covered village shimmer: Tobogganing with us is always an event.
From the Palüdbahn car park, you will reach the Schattenlaganthütte after about 2 hours of walking through the breathtaking Schattenlagant area. It is not uncommon for the real Brandner hut landlord Ernst Schedler to be waiting for you at the entrance to his mountain restaurant with a “welcome schnapps”. If you want to strengthen yourself before the rapid descent, you will find a cozy place to stop at the hut. Rental toboggans can also be rented directly from the landlord of the Schattenlaganthütte.
Once in the valley, the Papageno and the Alpentenne are on the way home!
You can reach the Eggen in Brand natural toboggan run directly and comfortably with the Dorfbahn. After a 5-minute ride up the gondola, nothing stands in the way of a rapid descent. Every Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. there is the opportunity to enjoy tobogganing fun at night. Of course, on this occasion there is also the possibility to continue with the panorama train to the open restaurant Frööd (in good Brandner: joy) in order to stop there.
There are also numerous places to stop at the valley station: Heuboda, Hotel Valavier, Cafe Mühlebach, Dorfschenke or Brandnerhof.
The natural toboggan run starts at the mountain station Einhornbahn I and goes through an underpass. From there you follow the toboggan run to the valley station of the Einhornbahn I in Bürserberg. Parking options Parking at Einhornbahn I or II.
Rental toboggans are available at various hotels and at the sports rental R-Sport right at the entrance. Night tobogganing is available every Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There you can enjoy a leisurely toboggan ride under floodlights on the toboggan run in Bürserberg.
