Walking barefoot on natural materials!
From the mountain station of the Dorfbahn it is only a few minutes to the starting point of this adventure trail. You walk (still with shoes) up towards the inner Parpfienzalpe. After a few minutes’ walk, shortly after a pasture fence, a hiking sign points to the barefoot path. Another 150 meters after this junction you will come across a bench by a stream – here you can now take off your shoes! And then it starts. Various natural surfaces tickle once, another time you caress under the balls of your feet. This is not only fun and varied, but also very healthy.

There is a lot for families to discover, marvel at and experience on the natural jumps trail. On the interactive hiking trail you will learn new and exciting things together and playfully at different stations. For the length of the walk, you are explorers who marvel at, get to know and feel the forest, the hunt, the rock and the water of the Alps: In short, you discover secrets of Alpine nature and its inhabitants, which you will talk about for a long time to come.
You can also borrow handcarts for the little ones from the Dorfbahn. It is best to walk the path from the mountain station of the Panoramabahn to the valley station, then the parents don’t have to pull too hard.

Experience local animals up close!
The animal adventure trail is located in the center of Brand. There the kids can try out their climbing skills in the goat enclosure, balance on a pole with the chickens, pet sheep and rabbits or watch a newborn calf trying to walk for the first time. Open barn areas are also integrated into the route in order to provide insights into the everyday life of the animals. There is also an insect hotel to admire. Sufficient space was also devoted to playing and experimenting. An observation station provides an overview.
If you choose to enter the animal adventure trail from the Schedlerhof or from the Älmele (there are also the public Brandner tennis courts), it only goes “downwards” and you can also master this with prams and/or small children.
Legendary experiences on the Bürs fairy tale and legend trail.
Six stations provide entertainment, where boards tell well-known fairy tales and legends from the region and interesting facts about nature.
If you enter from the mountain side (Brand or Bürserberg) you walk downhill. You can return – with the guest card – with the bus for free.
Here you find everything to do with mountain herbs and alpine plants. The “Plant Worlds Brandnertal” trail tells stories about mountain herbs and alpine plants. What colors does nature bring into play? What scents do plants give off? What are the special features of (mountain) herbs? And how do they contribute to our health? The 2.5-hour hiking trail can be easily reached with the Dorfbahn or Palüdbahn.
